Hackers stole personal data of celebrities and world leaders from the base of the British jewelry house Graff Diamonds. This is reported by the Daily Mail newspaper. According to her, the cybercriminal group Conti, connected with Russia, is behind the hack.

According to the publication, attackers managed to merge 69 thousand files on 11 thousand clients into the darknet. Among them are customer lists, invoices, receipts and other documents.

At the same time, the hackers claim to have published only 1% of the information received. Cybercriminals demand a ransom of cryptocurrency in order not to disclose confidential information in the future.

As reported, the attackers got the data of the former US President Donald Trump, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Prime Minister of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the former captain of the England national football team David Beckham, the American TV presenter Oprah Win, actors Tom Hanks and Alec Baldwin.

The affected company said it had informed those whose personal data could have been stolen.
