Getting CVV from Dumps.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get CVV from dumps?. I figured it wasn't done but a friend told me I was wrong, he claims it's done 70% of times but I personally don't see how. Maybe, I'm wrong about this, but I'm ready to be corrected. Your input would be highly appreciated.

Yes i'm pretty sure, the Code after the card the first 4 digits are the month and year and then the cvc is after that then after that is the dump info.
