In this article, we will continue the topic of the previous article, who have not read it, I advise you to read it.

Why Firefox? Anyway, this is the most flexible and user-friendly browser I've tried.
In addition, the browser itself is ideal in terms of anonymity.

I confess that I didn't get along with him right away - the reaction to the product was something like this: what kind of game is this !? Slows down in work, long loading, all this wildly enrages.
However, it was worth with him, a little shamming and ... the browser appeared before me in a completely different light.

Browser settings
Let's start with the fine tuning.
In the address bar, enter about:configand then set the following values:
media.peerconnection.enabled -> False
Leakage of the real IP address when using VPN / TOR. (WebRTC)

dom.disable_window_open_feature.close -> True The
dom.disable_window_open_feature.location -> True The
dom.disable_window_open_feature.menubar -> True The
dom.disable_window_open_feature.resizable -> True The
dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars -> True The
dom.disable_window_open_feature.status -> True The
dom. disable_window_open_feature.titlebar -> True
dom.disable_window_open_feature.toolbar -> True
dom.storage.enabled -> False
dom.indexedDB.enabled -> False
browser.cache.disk.enable -> False
browser.cache.offline.enable -> False browser.cache.offline.enable
browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl -> False

browser.cache.disk.smart_size -> False
browser.cache.disk.smart_size.first_run -> False
browser.cache.disk.smart_size.use_old_max -> False
browser.cache.disk.capacity -> 0
app.update.auto -> False
app.update.enabled -> False
network.http.use-cache -> False
browser.search.update -> False
browser.search.update.interval -> 0
extensions.update.enabled -> False
services.sync.prefs.sync.extensions.update.enabled - > False
extensions.blocklist.enabled -> False
browser.safebrowsing.enabled -> False
services.sync.prefs.sync.browser.safebrowsing.enabled -> False
browser.sessionhistory.max_entries -> 2
browser.sessionstore.privacy_level -> 2
keyword.enabled -> False
Browser.search.suggest.enabled -> False
geo.enabled -> False

network.proxy.socks_remote_dns -> True
network.cookie.lifetimePolicy -> 2
services.sync.prefs.sync.network.cookie.lifetimePolicy -> False

Next, we will continue with the optimization of memory consumption.
  1. We go to about: config and agreeing to be careful, we get to the browser settings page
  2. Find the browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers parameter in the list of settings and set the value to 0
  3. Next (by right-clicking and selecting "New - Boolean" from the drop-down list), you need to create a parameter with the name config.trim_on_minimize and the value true

Plugins.
We leave only what we use.
Remember - the less garbage, the more performance.
  • NoScript - Blocks scripts on pages by disabling all JavaScript.
  • Bluhell Firewall - Blocks ads. It consumes a lot less resources than AdBlock.
  • Disconnect - Another Add-on from the same series. It allows you to “disconnect” you from all networks that collect information about you, in order to then sell you advertising.
  • Ghostery - Blocks beacons, cookies, etc.
  • HTTPS Everywhere - Enables https on sites that support it but don't enable it by default. What gives + to protection.
  • BetterPrivacy - Deletes cookies and your traces.
  • Lightbeam for Firefox - Formerly known as Collusion, which allows you to present in a clear and simple form information about all the connections opened by the browser when visiting a page. This data can be used by you to understand the relationships between different pages, track ad modules and spy scripts.
  • User Agent Switcher - Change user-agent. Responsible for how the site will "see" you. You can set your own rules in the xml file.
  • Nightly Tester Tools - Forced installation of add-ons, makes outdated add-ons compatible with new versions of the browser. Of course, not all the functionality of the add-ons may remain working, but in most cases it helps.
  • DuckDuckGo - Anonymous search engine that doesn't have the habit of following you (hello google).

Themes
The simpler the better, ideally just keep the default.

That's all, restart the browser and rejoice at what happened.
For example, the browser loading speed has decreased from 7 Seconds to one.
Tabs are loaded much easier and without brakes.
