Electric cars are rapidly becoming a new trend in the automotive industry. Since their first appearance on the market just about ten years ago, electric vehicles have managed to significantly increase their popularity - not least due to the well-promoted Tesla brand Elon Musk. According to the company EV Connect, in 2010 there were only about 17 thousand electric cars in the world. However, by 2019, their number had grown by 42,000% to 7.2 million units.

In today's article, the PaySpace Magazine editors share a selection of the best luxury electric cars according to the British profile magazine Autocar.

The maximum speed that the car can reach is 180 km / h. There are five driving modes for the driver to choose from: Comfort, Eco, Max Range, Sport and an individually adjustable mode.

The experts put the Mercedes EQC in first place because of its "high-tech and high-class design, an impressive combination of comfort and attractiveness, and a first-class multimedia and navigation system."

According to media reports, the cost of the basic version of the Mercedes-Benz EQC in Ukraine is 54,105 euros.

The electric car has a double engine with a capacity of 400 hp, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds, as well as a top speed of up to 200 km / h.

Experts call the Model S a "breakthrough" in luxury cars, allowing electric cars to assert themselves as "a viable alternative to combustion-engine sedans." The latest model in the series, Plaid, has a high power of 1,020 hp, thanks to which the electric car can travel 628 km without recharging, accelerate to 100 km / h in 2.1 seconds and reach a peak speed of 322 km / h. The Plaid + model can travel over 830 km without recharging. Their cost on the official website of the company is $ 160 thousand and $ 200 thousand, respectively.

So, in comparison with the Model S, the prices for Model 3 on the company's official website are several times lower: for the Long Range version, the price tag is set at $ 65 thousand, for the Performance version - $ 75 thousand. The standard version will cost $ 53 thousand.
