Just curious to ask when entering details of a cc onto a website what if you put a fake telephone number? does it matter?

yes it matters change the the billing no to ur virtual no the shop or bank wont come to knw if they check the register meaning yellow pages

put the same number and change the last digit to a 3 or 4 or wtv.....

It doesn't matter in any way but it's safe to let the area code match the billing then the rest could be bogus.
