Jabber (XMPP) is a messenger (messaging system) similar to Whatsapp, Telegram and Facebook Messenger. This messenger offers different domain names for the address, which provides more choice for users (compared to other services). In this article, we will show you how to create a Jabber account.
Method 1 - How to create an account
1. Go to the Jabber registration site. You can create a Jabber account on multiple sites. Below is a list of such websites:

- Note: You can no longer register with Jabber.org.
2. Enter your username. Do this in the "Username" or "Username" line. The username can contain letters or numbers, but not special characters.
The username is not case sensitive.
3. Choose a domain name (if possible). The Jabber address format is [email protected] (that is, [email protected]). On some registration sites, you can select a domain name that will be used in the Jabber address; this cannot be done on other sites.
