Smuggling is a rather difficult period in my life. The hardest thing is not to get the goods across the border - the hardest thing is to sell the goods and stay clean. Now, of course, we are talking about large volumes.

There are different types of smuggling and now I will tell you about the really most interesting and effective ones.

I think you have a reasonable question: how do I know? My answer is straightforward - the experience was.

I will tell you about smuggling from the CIS to Europe. Naturally, I will tell you how ordinary people do it. The money that ordinary people make is a speck of dust, compared to how much money politicians make on it.

Why do people do this?
The reason is the same why people from the CIS go to work in Europe. Money. For one "trip" you can earn about 5 million rubles net. With this money you can live half your life.

Why does this happen?
In Russia and Ukraine, the average price of cigarettes is 50 rubles. Wholesale - 20-30 rubles. Usually from these countries and they are busy. In Germany, the average price for a cigarette is 5 euros (350 rubles). Those who are smuggled in bulk are charged between 2 and 2.5 euros, depending on who.

The drug business is much cooler, but I only have data on how it is done in the EU. But if you transport drugs from the CIS to the EU, you will become cooler than Escobar.

Why is it not so rosy?
Unfortunately or fortunately, they go to jail for smuggling. After all, it is illegal to transport a lot of cigarettes across the border. Even if you find a few extra packs, you will be fined. If you are lucky, they will charge you 20 euros, if your wife does not give the customs officer, you can take 100-200 euros from you.

If we are talking about large volumes (for example, 20,000 packs), then you can be soldered for life.

How can you make money on smuggling?
There are several ways you can choose (take only tobacco-related activities). All earnings described below are already net money received, taking into account costs.

1. You are the director of a cigarette factory. You pick up the goods for yourself, as if it were a "marriage" and sell them in bulk at a price slightly lower than the wholesale. Possible earnings depend on how much of the item you confiscated. For 10,000 confiscated packs, you can earn about 3,000 euros.

2. You are a drop. You carry cigarettes across the border. The scheme is simple: you are given cigarettes, you carry them across the border and give them on the other side. On average, you will be paid 30-50 eurocents (20-35 rubles) for one pack.

Where do the drops come from:
  • Diplomats. Yes, this is the harsh reality. I can assure you - they are the most drops of all the others. The fact is that they have diplomatic immunity and are not checked at the border (if you are a diplomat and you see a dog running towards you at the border, run away: the car will be checked). Usually they carry 50 boxes (25,000 packs - they stuff the whole car). Average earnings per trip - 10,000 euros.
  • Guys on a hang glider. I put them all in the same category - these are the guys who will transport you cigarettes across the border in any fun way: they will dig a tunnel with a shovel (such tunnels still work), buy real estate right next to the border and will throw it over the fence, or fly on a hang glider, drop the box and return to their country. Usually they carry no more than 1000 packs, so the average earnings are 500 euros per trip.
  • The son of my mother's friend. These guys have relatives working at customs. They are assigned a time (usually 4 in the morning, when there are few people at the border) and they pass without being checked. They can carry both 1 box and stuff no less than diplomats. But they donate more than 50% to their relatives at customs. Therefore, the average earnings: from 200 to 4000 euros per trip, depending on how much they took with them.

3. You - sell smuggled goods to dealers or local ones. You may be handed over to the police. There are a lot of snitches in Europe. Therefore, it is best to sell cigarettes to reliable resellers. Costs per pack: 1 euro (50 euro cents for the purchase + 50 euro cents for a drop). Dealers usually charge 1.50-1.80 per pack. The average earnings of sellers is 15,000 - 20,000 euros per sale.

4. You are a reseller. You buy smuggled goods, make fake licenses, and resell them to the local. The most difficult part of this work is to stick excise taxes and stickers, since the EU has a different design for cigarettes. Or there is another option - to unpack all the packs and manually insert them into the boxes. Of course, there are a lot of hemorrhoids. But I didn't complain. Costs per pack: 2 euros (1.5 euros for a purchase from sellers and 50 cents for boxes or stickers). With a license, you can safely push these cigarettes to local supermarkets at a price of 2.5 - 3.5 euros per pack. We usually bought 100,000 packs and re-glued everything in a week. Average weekly earnings are around 125,000 euros.

And that's all ...
