The Barabinsky District Court of the Novosibirsk Region considered a criminal case against a 19-year-old college student who sold 3 bank cards purchased in his name to an unidentified person, for which he received a reward of 7,000 rubles from an unidentified person via an online transfer to his bank account.

Vladislav Grechko was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal circulation of payment instruments) - sale of electronic means, electronic storage media intended for the illegal receipt, issuance, transfer of funds, and sentenced to 6 months of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 6 months.

The court, taking into account the behavior of the defendant after the commission of the crime, a combination of mitigating circumstances in the form of a confession, active assistance of the defendant in the investigation of the crime and the exposure and criminal prosecution of other accomplices, applied the provisions of Article. 64 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and considered it possible not to assign the defendant an additional punishment in the form of a fine.
