Ive been hearing thru the grapevine that business cards cant chargeback? is that true?

i recently used one for about 8k, including tickets, hotels, flights etc....and the card died in 3 months i believe....and nothing ever got chargebacked, even the ticketmaster tickets

i never really put any thought into it, but now that ive been reading about it made me wonder if thats really true? anyone else have input in this? thanks!

I hate to say it but, whoever told you that is telling porky pies. They can chargeback and I'd think they would charge back quicker as they'd be more alert of outgoings. I regularly use business credits and i receive emails saying the payment has been reversed etc. So i believe they can be charged back yes.

Someone gave me couple bins that dont chargeback or do code 04 and werent corps....But 1 was LA police department bin so I think maybe lies, i never tried them..

anything that is reported un-authorized regardless of bank is going to get charged back, don't know why you guys like to believe into fairy tales. the only cards that don't chargeback are prepaid cards/gift cards, but, those usually have low limits and is way more of a gamble trying to find a card with decent balance on it.

amex gift card will never charge back!! - i buy high qual white diamonds from a high end store and still frequent it... have not been arrested lol, so must not have came back. this was about 1.5 yrs ago ))

corporate cards, as well as many many traditional debit/credit charge cards, sometimes have the luxury option of automatically paying bill via EFT/ACH or whatever the fuck its called from a checking acct. it can be possible, that this is overlook by cardholder/business. maybe bill being paid, until they see bank acct VERY low in couple months not reflecting profits?

Corporate and purchasing cards dont chargeback because not covered by consumer protection. I know from my own experiences.

Also, outside of north america and europe, fraud protection varies widely and is often not as much in favor of cardholders. So in some cases even individual cardholders get stuck with the bill and maybe have to take the issuing bank to court to have charges removed.

Pre-Paid cards can chargeback.
Anything Visa/Master/Amex can chargeback.
Even Virtual cards.

I have my own Corporate visa and i am covered over fraud.

for example :
u have a card and u see a charge on ur statement or online access .. that is not urs .. what u do ? chargeback right ?
that`s why entire world use credit/debit/prepaid/virtual card .. to aviod fraud.

all cards chargeback long as the cad holder ask for it ..
any card holder can dispute a transaction . simple as that .

greetings friend, I'm a little new at this and I gusataria do business with a person who knows a lot about this'm from Dominican Republic and I'm interested in comparing major credit cards or debit cards. aver if you can help or refer someone. thanks

Yes you can say it wasnt yours, but bank may or may not entertain your claim. Again, if you read visa and mastercard zero liability clause, it doesnt apply to outside usa and canada, and also NOT to CORPORATE/COMMERCIAL/AGRICULTURAL/PURCHASING cards. But for corporate cards the loss falls on the company that it was issued to. Small business cards are protected same as individuals. And outside usa in some countries that I wont name here, if you have fraud even on your personal card good luck getting it chargedbacked. If banks terms said you only had 24 hours to report loss or theft, or that you were only protected from time you report loss or theft, then you are fucked unless you make judiciary proceedings and a bunch of legal paperwork.

I also used amex usa corporate cards at my friends pos at restaurant, and he NEVER got a single chargeback, until the day I decided to try a non-corporate centurion, and then he got chargeback 2 weeks later.
