Yes you can setup SpyEye with any PHP + SQL (including XMPP). As long as the server with XMPP have external dedicated IP to put on SpyEye configuration. Feel free to ask-me more in PM. And I'll not ask you $ for help

Yes, u can. But it will be better if you will use gasket or fast-flux.
