It so happens that for a long time everything falls out of hand, and it seems that the whole world has conspired against you alone. Things are not going well at work, financial problems, personal life is bursting at the seams, problems with relatives are added ... All these troubles occurring randomly in all spheres of life, you try, as far as you have strength, to take it calmly, write down another financial debt, write down more one difficult unsolved problem and you just can't find the right solution. Nerves are slowly starting to fail, and in the meantime, the list is growing and gaining critical mass, threatening a breakthrough. Any little thing can become the last straw: a stretched muscle in training, a colleague, neighbor or relative who crossed a personal border, or even a text message from an operator with a negative balance.

This moment can be compared to the so-called “decision point” in aviation, when the plane has already picked up a certain speed, being on the runway, the mechanic reports this, and the chief pilot, having assessed the situation, must make a decision and immediately issue one of two commands: "Takeoff!" or "Braking!"

In life, as a rule, the decision point is accompanied by four stages:

1. Acceptance of the situation. At this point, a person feels confusion, apathy, helplessness, his ideas about the world and himself are under threat. Everything is aggravated by the fact that a person does not see an opportunity to change something. It is important to accept these emotions, they are not meaningless, they indicate areas of life in which the desired is strongly at odds with the reality, there is an opportunity to change your whole life for the better, to understand true values, to find your vocation, mission, and set new goals.

2. Choice. Facing a life choice, on which the further path depends, decide whether to give up or move no matter what; dwell on past mistakes, afraid to make new ones, or try again and again and find the right solution. Feel the moment of choice, a kind of fork, after which life, depending on the decision made, can go in different directions.

3. Making a decision. Having made a choice in favor of a new life, take an inventory, assess the situation, collect available resources, make decisions and set goals. Draw up a detailed plan of action, a kind of checklist for life.

4. Start to act. There is always action between intention and result. You can make a decision a hundred times and do nothing, you can be promising all your life and never be realized. Step by step, result after result, confidence in oneself is strengthened and the result is approaching. Here is the starting point of a new life.
