One of the early developers of bitcoin, Amir Taaki, introduced the first completely anonymous DAO with token-based management.
According to the programmer, no actions of a decentralized organization are tracked online. Participants, their shares, transactions, treasury, and all voting-related aspects remain hidden.
Taaki believes that this approach is fully consistent with the original mission of cryptocurrencies as an anti-government technology that benefits people.
He stressed that working entirely "in the shadows" DAO is able to help organize resistance groups in totalitarian countries without the risk of being discovered and arrested. With the help of an online framework, they can set up rules and raise funds that will be managed by the team.
"We need anonymous DAOs more than ever to protect freedom," the developer said.
Taaki also cited the current Internet industry's reliance on spying on users and collecting data to benefit advertisers.
"Let's create the future Internet and a free society. Globalism will end. It's time to take this seriously, " the developer emphasized.
In the comments, users asked how a DAO without on-chain transparency will protect itself from malicious actions of participants, which may turn out to be the authorities.
"Just don't let them in. You can also limit the number of people who are allowed to make suggestions or execute them, " Taaki replied.
We created the world's first and only fully anonymous on-chain DAO with token-weighted voting.
Everything about the DAO is anonymous. DAOs are meant to be political and subversive.
• The DAO cannot be seen on-chain. It's looks like random data.
• The treasury is dark.… pic.twitter.com/9ENLsSCksy

Don't let them in. You can also restrict who can make proposals or execute them.
