Zach Harvey and Matt Whitlock, entrepreneurs and Bitcoin enthusiasts, created a prototype terminal for exchanging cash dollars for bitcoins. They plan to sell such ATMs to shops, cafes and restaurants that accept Bitcoin. Simultaneously with the gradual spread of cryptocurrency as a recognized means of payment on the Internet (Wordpress and Mega accept them, you can order pizza for bitcoins, and they even began to pay salaries in the Internet Archive), some offline enterprises, especially those located in areas with a high concentration of geeks, such like San Francisco, they also began to accept bitcoins. For example, you can pay with them at a local confectionery.

The terminal scans the QR code of the client’s wallet from the smartphone screen and accepts bills, after which a QR code with the transaction identifier and information about the transferred amount at the current rate appears on its display. The ATM charges a 1% commission. You don't need to have any bank accounts, no payment cards - just a wallet with a wallet app (or a QR code printout). The terminal connects to the Internet via WiFi to monitor the exchange rate and send transactions to the Bitcoin network. Thus, this is one of the easiest, fastest and cheapest ways to exchange dollars for bitcoins. Plus, completely anonymous. The cost of the terminal will be from one to one and a half thousand dollars.
