Assistance with Verifone connection Problem

hey guys,


For some reason, i am able to connect POS to computer and load the .batch file for vx670 to write the software into it. However, when i try to download batch through Hyperterm, it gives me a COM PORT ERROR. Ive tried changing around the COM ports on the computer but still to no success. Does anyone have a similar problem and/or solution? Ive tried 2 different copies of global Payments and they both give me the same issue with downloading.

The standard download port is set to com6, this works with a normal RS232 dongle. But if u use a multiport adapter dongle than change it to com1 in config.sys file of the vx670 terminal.
