The team is the most important part of the workflow today, but often the team is unsuccessful. In a large-scale study of large industrial companies, it was found that 75% of teams in various departments are ineffective. Some of the problems include coordination, motivation, and group competition problems, as well as waiting too long for a solution to these difficulties.

How do you know that your team is performing at a high level? We have put together a 23-point checklist to help team members identify problems and gain an understanding of how to solve them. By evaluating a range of factors that affect a team's success, you can determine what to carding with to achieve high levels of productivity and satisfaction. The survey includes: team goals, team members' commitment, skills, ethics and rewards.

The tool was tested in practice by team theory and existing assessment questionnaires, applied in 14 teams in a large healthcare organization. We received positive feedback that the survey was useful for these teams to define tasks and improve their performance.

1. Purpose. Purpose is the main reason for the team's existence.

2. Commitment. Commitment is shown when each member of the team collaborates with others, learns, and does whatever is necessary for the overall success.

3. Complementary skills and abilities. The team needs to maintain a balance of technical, functional and human skills, as well as have a problem-solving skill. When a team is faced with a problem, a combination of complementary skills can help solve it quickly.

4. Norms and rules. The team needs a list of rules of conduct and carding standards that determine the level of its performance.

5. Purpose and responsibility. Team members must have a clear vision of the desired outcome. Responsibility for the result is the business of each team member equally, the participants are not afraid to admit their mistakes and return to the beginning to correct them.

b) Each participant makes an equal contribution to high performance.
c) Each team member admits that he made a mistake.

6. Moral climate. The team spirit reflects the enthusiasm, trust and openness of the team members and their efforts. A high level of morale can increase productivity, promote collaboration, and reduce employee turnover and absenteeism.

7. Challenges, recognition and rewards. High-performing teams regularly ask themselves what they know and are constantly expanding their horizons and participating in new projects. Team members recognize and value the efforts and results of others, emphasizing that they have a stake in the team being effective.

8. Measurement of results. To be effective, the team needs regular process and outcome evaluations.

9. Coaching leaders. Team leaders must demonstrate behavior that coaches and supports the team so that it can function to its fullest potential.
