I want to apply glitter effect to my plastics.
I thought best way was to use pearl ex with a rubber stamp and watermark clear ink, is this correct or is there a better way?

bro for the best quality u have to use fusing method for making plastics not just printing with printer... if you know the method u just try that with the inkjet papers those are already having the effect on em.... i think this is the 100% best way to do so..

Check alibaba for this kind of blanks.

Some chinese companies sell them.

They coat the surface with a glitter/sparkling shit.

And it will shine through if you print over it.

For a normal glitter effect its best to buy silver glitter cards.

Gold ones are also available.

If you give them exact measurements they can even partly coat the surface, so that the visa logo wont be glossy, apart from the rest, like on the real cards.

I know of that, I was wondering if it was possible to find way to have this in a special ink ribbon or otherwise.

bro what are you doing for your Sig Panel? are you using PayPalers?

Best is use Zebra P330I or higher model and get white signature panel ribbon.

You can choose the size and it will get thermal transferred onto the card.

After that, put in inkjet printer and apply design.

Very good outcome.

How are they too thick?
They are same as the the ones on real cards, very thin.

this is how I do it go buy silver pvc and a white ribbon where visa logo needs to be print with white ribbon and any other parts that need to be white boom

Off topic, but I notice better and better security features on bank and credit cards. I just got some personal ones myself. Some have sparkle, but some have better features. Capital one has clear red ruby plastic.Discover card has holograms in its mag strip.

Some rare visa have holograms of the moving bird in the mag strip.

In europe most of the banks do partially sparkling surface now.
Like everything is sparkling, exept bank logo and master/visa logo

depends what printer you have bro, just type "printername ribbons" into google and it will find you a shop, best to buy not card.

This can be replicated also. Holograms can be made on a continuous roll and applied with thermal printer as an overlaminate.

And no I dont sell these rolls. But one day when more bank cards produce these, then I will have no choice to develop these further :) For now stay away from those cards
