The Goldsikka company introduced an ATM for selling gold in the Indian city of Hyderabad. The Gold ATM machine operates 24 hours a day, and you can purchase gold using a debit or credit card.

Goldsikka partners with OpenCube Technologies, a startup that provides software for various financial and banking purposes. Goldsikka's goal is to sell gold at the lowest possible price. The price of the precious metal is constantly changing, and the company strives to make gold accessible to different audiences so that everyone can withdraw it from any ATM.

Gold ATM users select the amount of gold required, pay by card and pick up the purchased item. Goldsikka notes that against the backdrop of growing demand for gold, the company wants to make Gold ATM a universal virtual platform for purchasing the precious metal.

Goldsikka plans to deploy similar ATMs across Hyderabad, including in rural areas. The first device will be placed at the company's head office.

In December, the price for 10 grams of gold was 54.63 thousand rupees (more than $662). Gold ATM allows you to purchase from 0.5 to 100 g of 24-karat gold.
