Fintech company Sentry Enterprises introduced bank cards with built-in OLED panels. Thanks to the platform, called Radiance (https://www.oled-info.com/sentry-en...luminated-credit-card-platform-powered-konica), plastic issuers will be able to embed screens produced by Konica Minolta, which, in turn, introduced this technology back in 2020.

As transactions are made, the panel will display their results. You can also display the status on the possibility of making contactless payments. An additional option is the ability to highlight the name of the bank that issued the card. The screen itself will be powered by the NFC module.

Innovation can be considered more of an image thing than one that carries real practical meaning. At the same time, Sentry Enterprises notes that the technology is ready for mass implementation. However, so far there has been no reported interest in it from specific banks.
