☝️ Internal critic
It is a voice that resounds in the head and constantly emphasizes failure, thus undermining self-confidence. He does not encourage you to try harder, but only condemns. You made a mistake on some Tuesday, but even ten days later (or even ten years), you still beat yourself up for it. You definitely need to stop criticizing yourself and finally move on. In the worst case, you berate yourself for something that happened a few years ago. Mistakes like “I have to be perfect” or “Don't make mistakes” can cause your inner critic to destroy the fragile building of your self-esteem.

The inner critic usually speaks with these phrases:
- "I must…";
- "I should…";
- "I always confuse everything";
- "How could I be so dumb?"

? Stuck record
We constantly scroll through the same phrases in our heads when problems arise. You may be listening to a jammed record of an inner critic and therefore continually criticize your behavior. Or just out of habit, you tell everyone how unhappy you are, what a terrible job you have, and that you are not understood. You do nothing to solve problems.

Some people think irrationally and believe that complaining will help them somehow improve the situation. No, they won't. But they will make you feel even more unhappy.

? Martyr Syndrome
I know there are heroic martyrs who sacrifice themselves for a just cause. But I use this term in a context of thinking that tells us the following:
- "I am not worthy";
- “I must sacrifice myself for the sake of others”;
- "I don't deserve to be happy";
- "My position is less important than the opinion of others."

? From an elephant fly
This type of thinking can also be described as "much ado about nothing." People are capable of being angry or upset over sheer trifles. Many break up and suffer from real nonsense. Little things snowball and completely distort your view of reality.

This inability to put things in perspective leads to outbursts of reactions that are completely out of proportion to the events. Does this sound familiar to you? Me - very much.

It happens that this type of thinking is closely related to the rest. You have a record of an internal critic stuck in your head for a very insignificant reason. In addition, it happens that a person portrays a martyr for a trifle.

For example, suppose that at work you are not given some news, and although it is not at all important, you start thinking: “They never tell me anything here. I will be the last to know. " This point is very important. So important that I want you to reread this passage twice until you are sure you understand its significance. You are worried about ordinary things and do not notice the really important problems in life.
