50,000 vibrations per second - and it's not a massager.

For a long time, industrial ultrasonic knives have been used for precise cuts in laboratories and factories. However, 369Sonic claims that their product is the first such device specifically designed for home kitchens.

369Sonic is a Kickstarter project created by a Czech startup with the same name. The device includes a 12-volt battery, a printed circuit board, and a titanium ultrasonic transducer that is connected to a sharpened 125 mm stainless steel blade. When the device is turned on, the converter produces an electrical signal that is converted to mechanical motion of the same frequency. As a result, the blade vibrates at a frequency of 40,000 to 50,000 times per second. These microscopic but quick movements prevent food from sticking to the knife during slicing, making it much easier to cut than with a traditional kitchen knife. It is also claimed that it does not damage delicate products, as it exerts minimal pressure on them when cutting.

The vibrations create only a soft whisper, although the knife itself emits a beep to let users know that it is actually cutting. At rest, it is covered with a protective pad for the blade and placed on a wireless charger. The battery life in everyday use has yet to be determined, but it is known that a single charge should be enough for about 50 minutes of continuous cutting.
