does writing the 201 dump to mag stripe when the atm supports mag stripe fallback work? in my country nearly all atms support mag stripe only payment which makes things significantly easier. Do i need a 101+p for this or does 201+p still work?

It depends, if you are hoping to have chip activation with the card then no, you must write the chip with the same dump as the strip. You can use the mag stripe on that atm card and reprogram it to use the track2+pin but then why wouldn't you use a blank.

This is the best chance you have, if that doesn't work you will need to look into coding the emv chip. It won't eat the card unless the atm machinary fails, it is not illegal to disable the chip on your card so it's not much issue if it does. It should only eat the card and hold it if the atm...

people have said that it is 50/50 if the bot tells you the bin is not vbv when it actually is but not the other way around, if it says it's non vbv it's non vbv. I don't know this to be 100% true

i dont know what your region is or what security laws there are. you will have to test yourself.

just because they are chip enabled doesn't mean they cant read mag stripe. go and test them yourself or use old ATM's in corner stores.
