Best is use Zebra P330I or higher model and get white signature panel ribbon. You can choose the size and it will get thermal transferred onto the card. After that, put in inkjet printer and apply design. Very good outcome.

Cardprinters have max dpi of 600. Real ones is much higher because its offset printing. You cant reach that. But its true. If colors match and it looks sharp and prof. no one will notice.
