hi,

i have read alot of people using the p330i for holos now since its very fast and a good solution apart from PayPalers or heatpress.

How does this work?

Is there a hologram ribbon for this printer or does it actually print the holo?

If yes what about the effects if its just a mere print?

Regards

i use a evolis pebble 4 and print holos in silver gold and hologram foil , i also have the zebra p330i but ive never heard of this being done on it , ive printed holos on some kind of eltron as well , its very economic when you dont know how good your bins are . no one is trying to be spending 3-5$ a plastic for nothing. The side effects .. it isnt multi spectrum , it passes a brief inspection but if your at a highend store they have a habit of scratching the hologram and it will immideatley scratch and flake off . you can also use your evolis pebble to print Chips on plastic to . In light of all this i believe they have silver for the P330i so yea you probablly could do all mentioned above

I see.

So eventhough its economic.

Wont beat a real hologram whatsoever.

Thx for the answer.

+1 for you.

Printed holograms with zebra or evolis suck they look bad.As far as there being a roll for the zebra I think there but I have yet to find a supplier for it.If anyone knows a good supplier for the zebra hologram roll let me know.very interested. These PayPalers holograms are getting to be a headache in stores.Hot stamping machine is the best I think but it looks complicated as far as lining up the holo to the card.

If they were that bad how did we get away with it for so long. They work just depending on your location. Sometimes you never know what you have to revert back to. And maybe some wasn't printing the damn thing right in the first place.
