Besides not being able to make new posts what are the downside of being DEER?

And what does the word actually mean?

IS Deer worse than having a -110 rep? cough MZHUSTLER...cough

DEER status is a good thing but I think one warning first via PM then DEER

Yes, I agree Moreover it would be good too, if somebody (mod,admin) send you a PM why you in DEER status.. Sometimes it would be useful..

Jeferi, thanks for explaining. I guess my DEER was for getting in an argument with someone with more posts than me so I got penalized.
I think there are more rules in real life, not on internet forums. Always flame wars going on and disrespect. Some people know there is no threat of getting their teeth knocked out if they are typing in a dark basement wearing 5 day old boxer shorts.
