Big mistake of "digits/max" was sending his dumps over by EMAIL, wich in this case he did by sending the email with dumps order to informant. After, the LE was able to obtain the IP's (probably socks/proxy) and trace the originating IP used to access those proxy/socks (after getting search warrants to get location).

NEVER use email and such for illegal activities. The IP's are easily tracable. Don't think you're safe using proxy/socks or whatever. If they investigate on you, they CAN get your location.

Secret Service has obtained Internet Protocol (IP)
connection logs for the email account, digits@hush.com. On
multiple occasions, the account was accessed from a computer
assigned the IP addresses 207.234.185.134, 207.234.185.87, and
207.44.208.35. The first two IP addresses are owned by Affinity
Internet Inc. based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and are used by
Affinity in connection with a specific customer account contained
on their computers; the last IP address is owned by The Planet,
Inc., located in Houston, Texas, and is likewise associated with a
specific customer account.

A pen register obtained by the Secret Service on IP
Address 207.44.208.35 revealed that the account was being accessed
by IP address 70.7.22.5, a Sprint wireless card. A wireless "card"
is simply a modem or device permitting the user to access the
Internet by means of a wireless signal.

This goes to show that I remember that in 06 hushmail was the shit.... java encryption plugin end to end everyone loved it.. And was supposed to be the safest anonymous email out there.. and look that they still got pen registers..

I remember iceman posting that LE was trying to disable his java encryption plugin from hush... that it was forcing it off and he knew something was up..but everyone was saying he s crazy..he wasnt ..
