Carrying MSR from US to Jordan

I am doing business in jordan, and i wanted to carry my MSR with me to jordan, but i hear from a freind there that i need a special Request from an Hotel or from a bank so i can be able to pass it from customs and police in airport, please can anyone help or suggest anything? cause i know in jordan there's alot governmental regulation i dont wanna go prison for it.

Put it to luggage and not to hand bag.
You can even remove plastic cover and say what it is some computer shit.

thanks so much , no customs knows it , cause 2 years ago I know someone who has been busted because of it, but i didn't knew what happened later on with him.. probably he was out but he was arrested.
I will try to do my best , and thanks ninja i guess i'll remove its plastic ...

i dont think any corp can arrest me for having msr with me.if only one knows the laws of the state u are. msr is never a Gun or bomb. why should they arrest u man.msr is also meant for legal use man.hotels and shop also use it for their personal coding of they members card. or hotel room key(plastic card use as key.)
i have been traveling always with my msr in every part of western Europe.no police or any authority can even attempt to arrest me for it.they cant even try. i will take them to court and claim compensation for wasting my time and tarnishing my image.they cant even try it.
only make sure u have no Master or Visa logos with u together with msr.if u are caught with MC.Amex,Visa or any other credit card plastics with u together with msr. then that could be different case all together,.
