The concerned mother of the victim, having learned about the situation, convinced her daughter to contact the police.
In the course of operational search and technical measures, law enforcement officers identified the suspect, who turned out to be a resident of the city of Ilansky, born in 1993. It turned out that the virtual lover, he was represented by an assumed name.
At the place of residence of the attacker, search operations were carried out, during which the police seized a bank card, a cell phone, a system unit and a computer monitor.
A criminal case has been opened against the fraudster on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The defendant was given a preventive measure in the form of recognizance not to leave and proper behavior.
