Trade through the Web began with the sale of drugs in the 70s of the last century. Everything you could not expect from online stores is collected in our review.

Exactly 17 years ago, on October 26, 2000, the Australian diamond company began selling diamonds over the Internet. The editors have compiled a list of the most unusual products that can be found on online stores. The strangest lots appear on eBay. They are often so provocative that they must be removed.

Private property

You can sell anything on eBay, from the world's smallest mobile home to the server of a website that has dealt with international revelations. However, there are things that don't belong on eBay. So, the lot with the Brazilian aircraft carrier Minas Gerais was never destined to be sold.

Cities and countries

Several years ago, the inhabitants of an Italian village decided to sell it. The settlement consisted of 14 houses and another fifty different buildings. Residents argued their proposal by the need to carry out high-quality restoration of buildings.

But if the sale of the village made practical sense, then putting up for auction in Russia, Iceland and New Zealand was rather entertainment. Despite the fact that the rates on states reached tens of thousands of dollars, it is still impossible to sell them.

People

People try to sell parts of their body, or whole life, on eBay. And if it is quite difficult to find a buyer for a liver or an elderly relative (the administration blocks such lots), then selling a forehead as an advertising platform is quite possible. Kari Smith did just that - now she has the casino website address on her face.

Also on eBay sometimes it is possible to raise money to participate in sports competitions, or even sell your whole life - a house, a car, meeting friends and the opportunity to take a job.
