NLB forced MTS Bank to become open and transparent.

Hackers from the NLB group announced the hacking of MTS Bank (https://mtsbank.ru) and claim to have made the personal data of 1 million customers publicly available. According to the group, they have a complete database of 21 million rows at their disposal.

The data was published in three separate files. According to the telegram channel "Database Leaks", the leak contains:
  • Phone numbers (708,312 unique);
  • Surnames, first names and patronymics;
  • Dates of birth;
  • INN NUMBER;
  • Paul;
  • Part of the bank card number;
  • Technical details.
Customer contact details were also disclosed:
  • Phone number (1,350,806 unique);
  • Email address (42,879 unique).
MTS Bank is a Russian commercial bank that was founded in 1993 and is one of the top 50 banks in Russia by assets.

NLB hacker group actively attacks Russian organizations and is responsible for data leaks of customers of Leroy Merlin, Auchan, Tvoy Dom, Gloria Jeans and Ascona retail chains, as well as Bukvoed websites, edimdoma.ru and "Yours".In addition, in June, the attackers posted databases that may presumably be related to the network of bookstores "Read the City", as well as the publishing houses "Eksmo" and "AST". The group is also behind the data leak of the bonus program "SberSpasibo", the online legal aid platform "SberPravo", "Sberlogistics" and other large companies.
