The conflict in Israel has affected ordinary citizens, depriving them of light and privacy.

The pro-Iranian group Handala said it had successfully hacked into Israel's radar systems and sent 500,000 text messages to Israeli citizens.

According to the hackers, they not only re-hacked RADA radar systems, but also warned about the lack of time to restore them. The hackers ' message reads: "The second time we hacked your radar systems, but this time it's different! You only have a few hours to repair the system! We've started the game! We suggest you run now."

However, there are inconsistencies in the screenshots provided: some coordinates do not match locations in Israel and point to the La Sagrada Familia temple in Barcelona, while other coordinates correspond to Israel.

Separately, Handala claims to have sent more than 500,000 threatening text messages to Israelis after the hacking of marketing company 99 Digital, which resulted in 5.2 TB of data from confidential conversations.

According to CyberKnow, it is unclear whether this attack on military tactical radar systems had any success. Reducing radar visibility would be beneficial to any Iranian attack.

On April 13, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also said it attacked Israeli websites, urging residents to stock up on food and water and "prepare for battle." The attacks may have involved a pro-Iranian group called Cyber Avengers, which caused power outages in several cities.

The situation is complicated by the activities of other pro-Iranian cyber groups, such as Cyber Av3ngers, which also claim to have attacked an Israeli electricity company, causing power outages in several cities.

Hackers claim of hacking

In response to cyber attacks and missile strikes, Israel, along with its allies, was able to intercept 99% of the approximately 350 Iranian missiles and drones. Five missiles hit the Nevatim Air Base, damaging the runway, a C-130 transport plane and several warehouses.

According to Check Point, between April 1 and April 7, the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) carried out more than 2,000 attacks each. Together, the agencies run more than 10 different groups, and their activities against Israel have more than doubled.

The CyberKnow tracker also notes the participation of 65 groups in the campaign against Israel from April 1 to April 8, 2024, carrying out DDoS attacks and others.

"Expect these groups and possibly others to refocus their efforts on Israel. There are already public statements – hackers are trying to add fear," CyberKnow experts noted.
