Big Brother is watching us and it is not always noticeable when, where and how often. And third-party cookies are actively helping with this. The creator of the Listening Back extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/listening-back/gdkmphlncmoloepkpifnhneogcliiiah) Jasmine Gaffond decided to voice the scope of surveillance on the web.

The extension makes not very pleasant sounds every time cookie data is saved, deleted or updated. We advise you to install the extension for a couple of hours to listen and appreciate the scale of the surveillance. And then once again think about protecting your data.

For cookie services giants like Google and Facebook, their own sounds are set to hear when, how often and where a certain network is following you. The most interesting thing is to observe how sounds are heard on sites where you do not expect surveillance from Facebook at all, for example.

Enjoy, but remember: Listening Back uses read and modify data permissions to work.
