Why regular private networks are not so secure.

VPNs are useful for maintaining anonymity on the Internet. When traveling, they give you access to content that is blocked on the territory of another country. People who use unwanted services such as torrents are helped to circumvent the restrictions.

In some cases, such as when using public Wi-Fi, this is a good way to protect against man-in-the-middle attacks and other threats.

At the same time, private networks are blocked quite often. For example, governments of some countries, such as China, educational institutions and firms (to control their students and employees). For complete privacy, we have come up with a new solution — disguised servers .

When connecting to a regular VPN, the ISP still records its usage, even if it doesn't see the specific sites that the client visits. VPN IP addresses have a distinctive label. It is not immediately noticeable, but someone can detect it during deep packet analysis.

Disguised servers specifically change the traffic structure to hide the fact that they are using a private network. They eliminate all tokens, protocols, and signatures that make an IP address with a VPN definable.

Experts do not recommend using masked servers on a permanent basis – this significantly reduces the connection speed. It is better to enable" Masking mode " as needed: in those places and cases when regular VPNs are not available.

In some VPN applications, the "full masking" mode is already built in. You can usually enable it in the settings, but most often you need a paid subscription.
