Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Vladikavkaz detained a suspect in fraud in Rostov.
Operatives found that the attacker posted a fake ad on the Internet about the sale of mining equipment. He lured customers with favorable conditions and, under the pretext of prepayment, lured money.
So, two residents of Vladikavkaz fell for the trick of the false seller, who lost a total of over 430,000 rubles. Left without money and equipment, the young man turned to the police for help.
As a result of a set of necessary measures, Vladikavkaz operatives established the identity and location of the attacker - a 27-year-old resident of Rostov was detained in his household.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud". The police are taking measures aimed at the suspect's involvement in the commission of similar crimes.
The investigation of the criminal case continues.
