very soon the transit service is going to go magnetic swipe cards. if you have equipment, get one of these cards, read the info and figure out how to duplicate it like the NYC hackers did in 2600 magazine for the NY subway. there's no way it can read the info, then verify funds instantly everytime it would take far too long and would require pin codes ect. i bet it simply reads the mag stripe like the NY one's do.

sell them on craigslist, take liqpay for Visa/MC payment. convert your liqpay to anonymous digital gold currency like LR or Pecunix then PayPal it in the local mail and send anonymously. make some small profit. some kid when I went to UBC used to make fake monthly passes and netted and extra 2k a month for easy work.

Damn, I use to be in Vancouver, might be coming back some time soon.

If they are actually using these at the skytrain stations then damn, some people are going to be making some easy money.

When are they planning to incorporate this?

this works...i dont know about in vancouver though but it is probably the same system.
