The couple has a difficult choice: to be in custody in Italy or in the dock in France.

A couple from St. Petersburg was detained in Italy at the end of August at the request of France, which accused the Russians of participating in hacker attacks, TASS reports.

While vacationing in Italy, the couple faced accusations from France of hacking attacks. Initially, the Italian Court of Appeal rejected the extradition request due to a lack of evidence in the still-pending investigation. However, after the replacement of the judging panel and the re-submission of materials from France, the request was granted. Now the decision on extradition is being challenged in the Court of Cassation.

The couple were remanded in custody in Italy, denying all charges and refusing to move to France for trial. Employees of the Russian Consulate General in Milan have already held a meeting with the arrested people.
