September 25. /TASS/. The Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow arrested two officers of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) in the case of illegal transfer of information about goods transported across the border to third parties for a bribe. This is stated in the case materials, which were reviewed by TASS.

"The activities of employees of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, who collected and transferred information intended for official use to third parties for a fee, are being investigated", one of the case documents at the disposal of TASS says. It is noted that the investigator submitted copies of the materials of the criminal case in support of the arguments of the petition for the arrest of the FCS employee Roman Tarkhov. We are talking about a confession, as well as Tarkhov's testimony that he mediated the transfer of money to a customs officer Sheynikov for obtaining data on the declaration of goods transported across the border.

The investigation of the crime is being carried out by the units of the Investigative Committee on transport. According to the case materials, charges were brought against customs officers Sheynikov D.V. and Tarkhov R.V. Two criminal cases were opened against them: under the article on illegal access to computer information, which is contained in the critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation by a group of persons using their official position (Part 4 of Article 274.1 of the Criminal Code) and on bribery on an especially large scale (Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code). As witnesses, the investigators interrogated some of Sheynikov's and Tarkhov's colleagues. Their offices were searched. Other defendants may appear in the case.
