Track 1 and Track 2 not matching???

Has anyone heard of having a mismatched track 1 and 2 and still have it work on plastic at the register?

as long as track 2 is right, track1 doesn't matter in most stores

yeah he is right, alot of pos only read track 2 so thats why your dump worked

They actually read track1 but just for name printing purposes.

track 1 is mainly yes for the name , HOWEVER! some cc processor are send track 1 to bank to verify 0 are in correct place )

i have try 100% approven dumps in-store wich not region lock ( bcuz card from same state etc .. ) and still decline ))! this due to BAD track 2 , it not even authorise card it was still approv but work at gas puump ? HMM

Absolutely right track1 does not need to match the track2 all that is important is track2 needs to be right......
