Pompompurin incarcerated himself in just a few clicks.

Conor Brian Fitzpatrick, also known as Pompompurin, violated the conditions of pre-trial parole by using a computer without the necessary monitoring service. FBI agents arrested the former administrator of the liquidated hacking forum BreachForums on January 2, according to court documents.

Officers told the judge that Fitzpatrick violated parole requirements by using a computer and VPN service without the court-ordered monitoring software enabled. Fitzpatrick will remain in custody due to the violation and will soon appear in court for sentencing. This was reported by vx-underground specialists.

Fitzpatrick was first arrested at the end of March 2023, when he was 20 years old for participating in the curation of the BreachForums forum. According to the court, Fitzpatrick faces the following charges:
  • conspiracy to commit fraud with access devices;
  • access device fraud leading to extortion;
  • possession of child pornography.

Fitzpatrick pleaded guilty to all three charges.

Cybercriminals used BreachForums (Breached) to share data stolen from various organizations. For example, the site posted information stolen from the health insurance company DC Health Link, including confidential information about members of the US House of Representatives and Senate, as well as, among others, data from Acer, Deutsche Bank, Duolingo service and Activision video game manufacturer.
