After the threat of blocking TikTok met the requirements of the European Union.

The TikTok stepped up resources and staff to counter hate speech and the spread of false information that has emerged since the start of the conflict in Israel. Earlier, EU industry chief Thierry Breton gave TikTok 24 hours to provide details of measures taken to combat the spread of disinformation on the platform after the conflict broke out.

TikTok's statement listed the actions taken, but the company declined to comment on exactly how it responded to Breton's request.

TikTok's actions include launching a command center, improving automated detection systems to remove graphic and violent content, and appointing additional moderators who speak Arabic and Hebrew.

In addition, content targeting or ridiculing victims of violence, as well as inciting violence, was removed. TikTok has also tightened the requirements for participating and conducting live broadcasts. The platform cooperates with law enforcement agencies and interacts with experts.
