Jonathan James, known as c0mrade was the first underage hacker convicted of a cybercrime in the US. He was only 15 when he launched his first cyber attack in the late 1990s.
James was born on December 12, 1983, to a computer programmer father and a stay-at-home mother, in a small village in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Already from the age of 6, he showed a great interest in the computer world, he regularly used his father's computer to play video games.
His curiosity about computers came to light when James switched the operating system of his father's computer from Windows to Linux out of curiosity to test the unknown operating system and understand how it worked.
