The scammer creatively deceived a Muscovite who fell in love with him: he said that he had flown to his father’s funeral and asked to look after the cat in his non-existent luxury apartment. While the excited woman was looking for the keys, the dreamer casually scammed her out of money.

A 43-year-old lady from the capital met a certain Roman on a dating app in December. The couple quickly began flirting by correspondence, they decided to see each other in person and perhaps even celebrate the New Year together. But suddenly, not long before the holidays, Roman announced that his father had died, and he urgently needed to fly to some “small provincial town that no one even knows.”

Roman asked the lady for a small favor: to find his Porsche parked at Sheremetyevo Airport, take from it the keys to his elite apartment in the Triumph Palace residential complex in the Khoroshevsky district of Moscow and go there to feed his purebred cat. The woman agreed to everything. While she was on her way to the airport, Roman complained that his card with all the money was blocked, and asked his beloved to transfer him ₽20 thousand to the card of a friend whom he was about to see in his hometown.

The request was immediately fulfilled, after which the gullible lady was blocked from all messengers - the airport was right down the road. The deceived woman had no choice but to turn around halfway and go to the police.
