The Frunzensky (Minsk) district Department of the Investigative Committee establishes the circumstances of fraud committed on a particularly large scale.

According to the case file, in early July of this year, a 51-year-old resident of the capital found an interesting offer on the Internet about receiving passive income. By clicking on the link, he got acquainted with the advantages of earning money on exchange trading, and then left his contact details. Almost immediately, they got in touch with the man and explained the basic principles of running a successful business in this area.

A resident of Minsk registered on a specialized platform, created a personal account and added the minimum amount to the balance to participate in transactions. In addition, the exchange assigned him an analyst who helped his ward navigate the world of virtual trading. The joint "tandem" brought a good profit – pleasant amounts were displayed on the man's balance sheet, after which the "experienced" curator suggested putting bigger money into circulation.

At the request of the trader, allegedly reputable representatives of a serious company contacted the man and guaranteed to help him complete the transaction. They gave the so-called loan to the client in the amount of 8 thousand dollars. Until the debt is repaid, the personal account for withdrawing money will be blocked, but this "trusting" gesture will allow the Minsk resident to earn twice as much in the end. The novice investor agreed and, together with his supervisor, conducted a "successful" auction, and returned the debt to the company from personal savings.

A couple of days later, an experienced partner of a novice investor allegedly made a couple of mistakes, which caused the man to lose the money he earned. Without thinking twice, he turned to a well-established company for help and took out a loan for trading - 24 thousand dollars. Conditions are the same as before – pay back the debt within a certain time.

In a fairly short time, the Minsk resident, in order to pay off virtual creditors, issued a real loan from a bank, sold the car and borrowed savings from his wife. He paid off the debt to the company – in parallel, a personal trader conducted a successful transaction.

When the man was satisfied with the trading results and wanted to withdraw money, he could not do it. Another fake representative called the client and requested a certain code to legalize the operation. In turn, the personal assistant tried to persuade the ward to pay part of the amount earned in order to" legally " withdraw their capital. However, such arguments, on the contrary, clarified the consciousness of the Minsk resident and he realized that he was left with real debts because of fraudsters.

In a couple of weeks, a novice trader transferred more than 98 thousand rubles to the pseudo-exchange account.

The Frunzensky (Minsk) district Department of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 209 (fraud committed on a particularly large scale). Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. Investigators, in cooperation with police officers, identify the persons involved in the commission of the crime.
