The Muscovite bought a webcam studio franchise and was going to raise millions on streams with girls, but in some places he miscalculated and went into the minus by ₽1.5 million — he was divorced by scammers.

62-year-old Akhtyam said that he found a "unique suggestion" on how easy it is to become rich on the Internet. "The owner of a large webcam network Showgirls" introduced himself as Anton Ivanov from Kazan. He said that their girls allegedly stream from 15 cities of Russia and the franchise can start earning from ₽12 million a year.

Akhtyam fell for it, collected all his savings and paid ₽1.5 million for the franchise and training, of course, the contract was signed remotely (and why do you need a personal meeting?). After the payment, he was assigned two curators for the first time: an administrator and a recruiter who was supposed to search for models. The Muscovite was assured that everything is absolutely legal — the girls on the air allegedly only talk about the weather, movies and music without sexual overtones.

But after a couple of weeks, the curators suddenly stopped communicating and Akhtyam had a suspicion that he was divorced. He demanded to break the contract and return the money. This, of course, no one did. It was also not possible to find the network of webcam studios at Businessman itself: in principle, it did not exist.

The deceived man reported to the police and is trying to sue. According to his lawyer, this is a new type of fraud in Russia. He and his client have already found ten victims of a similar scheme. And these are only those who have contacted the police.
