Introduction
If you try to Google the term "biohacking", you will see a lot of depressing collections on how to improve your way of life with good sleep, proper nutrition and regular physical activity.

A few words about Joshua
Although he may seem like a perfectly normal gentleman at first glance, I can assure you that this is far from the case. Joshua's appearance constantly hints at his quack nature and leads us to believe that this character has absolutely nothing to do with science. Not at all. The kid has a degree in biology and even worked for NASA. But at one point, Zainer found out about biohacking and something went wrong. He smelled the smell of easy money. I quit my job and started riveting startups that aim to make biohacking accessible to everyone.

DNA editing
The purpose of Joshua's life is to promote self-modification of DNA. A few years ago, he joined a large company that was developing this issue at a serious scientific level. But while the guys worked for hours in cool labs, Zainer just took their methods and adapted them to the home environment. Good advertising and corresponding earnings required good advertising. So Zainer decided to test DNA editing on himself. At one of the scientific conferences, he injected himself with an injection that was supposed to make him a real Schwarzenegger. The idea was simple.

Microbiota transplantation
Joshua's main problem was the constant pain in his stomach. As trivial as the problem was, the solution was just as unusual. Zainer decided that the problem was his microbiota-the bacteria that live in the gut and help digest food. Therefore, we need to replace them. To do this, Joshua asked a complete stranger to poop in a box, made pills from his excrement and ate it. Previously, he got rid of his own microbiota by drinking a course of antibiotics and thoroughly washing up. The dude is certainly well done, brave. He, more than any of us, now knows the shitty taste of life.

Result
Having studied all the information about Joshua's experiments in detail, I am ready to draw this conclusion. The ideas of the experiments themselves are quite reasonable and could really work. But they didn't work. This, in turn, suggests that Joshua is, first of all, a hype hunter and showman, and then a biohacker.
