The woman posed as a terminally ill patient to get help.

Elinor Asraf, a previously convicted professional fraudster, deceived law enforcement and avoided prosecution by faking her terminal illness.

This is reported by Channel 12.

So, a number of criminal investigations were previously conducted against Asraf - the woman used several false identity cards with different names to fraudulently extort large amounts of money from various individuals. Asraf then provided a video and medical documents, claiming that she was in the last stage of cancer.

2 She submitted these documents to the police, the courts and the National Insurance Service (Bituah Leumi), as a result of which the prosecution was suspended. The authorities stifled her version, believing that she had a little time left, and decided not to disturb the "dying woman", - stated in the message.

However, recently, investigators from Bituah Leumi discovered that Asraf is actually alive and well. She changed her name to Toar Diamant and became a successful fraudster. So, Asraf stole the personal data of another woman who really suffers from a deadly disease, and somehow added them to computer systems under her own name. During this time, she managed to get about 500 thousand shekels from Bituach Leumi under various pretexts.

One of Asraf's family doctors tried to examine her, but was refused. Diamant then provided a video showing her as a woman in the end-stage of the disease, with oxygen tubes and a life support system. However, she looked well-groomed, with perfect makeup and enlarged lips thanks to botox. Thus, the fraudster was exposed.

Toar Diamant herself insists on her innocence. In light of the new circumstances, it is expected that the prosecution against her will resume.
