Security agencies from several countries around the world have carried out a joint special operation called "Talent", within the framework of which large cybercriminal forums Cracked and Nulled were shut down. Now visitors to these platforms are greeted with a message about the seizure of domains. As Bleeping Computer specifies, law enforcement agencies from the USA, Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Australia and Romania, as well as Europol, were involved in the operation.

The Cracked administration confirmed the existence of problems in the Telegram channel associated with the platform, noting that they are still waiting for "official court documentation from the data processing center and domain host." The project owners promised to provide details to users as soon as they learn them themselves." In addition, the Federal Bureau of Investigation also confiscated the domains of three platforms suspected of being linked to cybercriminals. These included MySellIX and SellIX, platforms that allowed users to create their own online stores, which the attackers also used to sell stolen data and compromised accounts. Another victim was the Windows RDP virtual hosting provider StarkRDP. It was allegedly used for credential stuffing attacks.

According to the US Department of Justice, the Cracked platform had existed since 2018. It had at least four million registered users who posted about 28 million messages. The damage caused by the forum is estimated at four million dollars. As for Nulled, the United States has brought formal charges against one of the resource's administrators, 29-year-old Argentine citizen Lucas Son, who lives in Spain. Since 2016, Nulled has hosted more than 43 million publications, and the site's annual income was one million dollars.

It is possible that Son is one of two people arrested during the special operation in Spain. According to Europol, a total of 17 servers and about 300 thousand euros in cash were seized in the EU.
