An American woman from Northern Kentucky (Ohio) was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for stealing 185 thousand dollars from a municipal credit card and cards of her colleagues. The Messenger also clarifies that after that, she will serve another three years of probation.

Now Allison Donaldson (Allison Donaldson) is 50 years old, but she began to commit her crimes in 2005, when she was 32. All these years, she worked as an administrative manager in the Department of Public Works, so she had access to the data of cards issued by the municipality for corporate needs, as well as to the credit cards of her colleagues.

Curiously, in 2012, she even got caught using city cards for personal purposes, but the employer, for some unknown reason, did not punish her for the offense, limiting herself to a short-term suspension from service. After returning to work, the woman continued to spend other people's money.

As a result, over all these years, she managed to steal 185 thousand dollars, which were spent on home repairs and a Mercedes Benz car, as well as on a Chanel handbag. The prosecutor's office insisted on a 20-year prison term, but the woman wisely made a deal with the investigation and got off with a relatively lenient sentence. In addition, she will pay a fine of 12 thousand dollars.
