The attackers produced and sold documents: vehicle registration certificates, driver's licenses, educational diplomas, marriage certificates, birth and death certificates. DVB operatives and investigators from the Main Investigation Department of the National Police stopped their illegal activities, and the main defendants were declared suspected.

Employees of the Department of Internal Security and investigators of the Main Investigative Directorate of the National Police on illegal activities exposed a group of people who, on order, produced fake documents of state bodies. Law enforcers found out that among the group members there are two former policemen.

It has been established that residents of Kyiv, Kyiv and Khmelnytsky regions have set up the production of fake documents, including those with holographic elements and official seals, which are issued by executive authorities. Among the documents forged by the attackers are driver's licenses, vehicle registration certificates, certificates of various state authorities and law enforcement agencies, education diplomas, marriage certificates, birth and death certificates.

Based on the internal security materials, the National Police investigators started criminal proceedings under Art. 199 (Production, storage, purchase, transportation, forwarding, importation into Ukraine for the purpose of using in the sale of goods, sale or sale of counterfeit money, government securities, state lottery tickets, excise tax stamps or holographic security elements) 358 (Falsification of documents, seals , stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers conducted 18 authorized searches at the defendants, and then seized fake documents, money, stamps and seals, mobile phones, and draft notes.

Now three accomplices have already been informed of suspicion. Police investigators are preparing to hand over suspicions to other defendants. The pre-trial investigation continues.
