A fresh update to the Phantom non-custodial wallet for Solana has led to a reboot of apps on iOS. The developers warned that they would not be able to help return funds to those who did not make a backup copy of seed phrases.
"A small number of iOS users face the problem of resetting apps. If you are among them, you can restore your wallet using a backup phrase. We have released an iOS app update to prevent this issue from impacting. Please make sure to always back up in a safe place," the developers said.
The response arose to the anger of a number of users who faced the loss of funds.
"I see quite a few people affected by the latest Phantom update on iOS, which 'deletes' all wallets from your phone. […] Who is to blame? Are there any compensations? […] Or we will blame it on the game and blame users for not saving their private keys/seed phrases," said the founder of Graphite Protocol under the nickname Tom.
We're aware that a small number of iOS users are experiencing app resets. If you happen to be among them, you can restore your wallet using your recovery phrase.

I’m seeing quite a lot of people across being affected by the new phantom IOS update that is “deleting” all the wallets off your phone — losing wallets with a lot of money in them ( specifically hot wallets they made just for trading memes).
