Why can’t we use our own gmail as smtp?

Why?: If we think purely logically, we know that, if at all, banks only use words like "Bank", "Verify", "Confirm", and so on. The recipient's mailbox looks: OK a word like Bank detected, MX domain check and if no company then garbage. (Companies should have known SMTP domain)
